Publishing and Adding Agenda Items for Union Meetings
Agendas will be made available to the membership 24 hours in advance via the US-UNM listserv. Members wishing to have items printed on the agenda must request to do so by contacting the Secretary two (2) days prior to the meeting. New agenda items not printed on the agenda will be considered by motion to the Chair.
The Executive board would like
to gently remind the attendees to respect Robert's Rules of Order and your
fellow Union members who graciously volunteer their time to US-UNM.
Please address the Chair and get
recognition before talking.
Debate the issue, not the person who presents it.
Talk briefly and not too frequently.
Respectfully ask for clarifying or additional information, don’t demand
it.
Anything requiring action must be made through a motion.
Official meeting minutes will be kept by the Local. Only abbreviated minutes will be posted on the calendar.
Unless noted, all Executive Board and General Membership meetings will be held at the Union office.
