After submitting the form below, a US-UNM representative will make contact to welcome you to our Union, finalize membership, and explain all of your rights and benefits as a United Staff-UNM member.  Welcome!

The undersigned employee of UNM hereby agrees to pay through employer payroll deduction or in cash the annual dues as established by the Local in compliance with the Local’s constitutional provisions and, if applicable, with procedures established by the Local with the employer.  Deductions will continue unless revoked in writing by the member to the Local and to the employer’s payroll office no later than 30 days prior to the effective date of revocation.  Dues paid to US-UNM may not be deducted for Federal Income Tax purposes; however, under limited circumstances dues may qualify as a business expense.

 POLITICAL ACTION DONATION: Where indicated, the undersigned employee agrees to pay, in cash or check, an annual contribution to the US-UNM Committee of Political Education (US-UNM COPE).  This contribution is voluntary and that membership in good standing with US-UNM and NMFEE is not dependent on the decision to contribute or not to contribute to US-UNM COPE.  COPE contributions are not deductive for Federal Income Tax purposes
